Bush and President Vladimir Putin will meet July 1 and 2 in Kennebunkport,
Maine, administration officials said Wednesday.
Bush's father, former President George H.W. Bush, has an oceanfront compound
in Kennebunkport.

No, a compound is just more political propaganda speech. Did you ever
once hear the liberal media calling it the Clinton compound? The Edwards
compound? The Gore compound? The Pelosi compound? The Kennedy Compound?
No you do not. Yet you hear about the Bush compound, the Branch Davidian
compound, the Reagan compound. It's about time people started to
recognize how the liberal media constantly tries to cast non-liberals in
damaging fashion.

They would call President Bush's Crawford ranch a compound more often if
they didn't think "ranch" was a better way to disparage the president
because it furthers their agenda in casting the president as a cowboy.

Seems to me that the Kennedy estate is generally referred to as a
"compound," why not the Bush estate also? Besides, Herr Bush is a "War
President." Compound really seems to fit.

In the case of Walker Point in Kennebunkport, I would say compound is a good
description.

It is out on the end of a rock island like land area. And there are
multiple buildings, I think.

Why on earth Bush the President would invite Putin to visit him at
Kennebunkport is kinda strange.

All I know is that this will really screw up the whole place at a very busy
time of year.

At one time, Kennebunkport was a very friendly sailors port. Not anymore.
The money crowd has taken over.
