I found this light on the net at the above address .. .. looks pretty
sweet. But ..?? I don't want to get ripped off. Any of you ever bought
anything
from these people? The Rail Light .?? Any of you have something like this?
Where did you get yours?

RL01 Solar Powered Rail Light Works like a garden light but brighter!.
It's always safer to have extra lights on deck when anchored. A great
cockpit lounge light too!

I use regular garden lights. It is super easy to attach them to
stanchions. I make two loops of small stuff around the stanchion one
for the main shaft of the light and the other for the pointy bit to
make a simple bayonet mount. Works wonderfully and you can buy the
lights by the dozen at COSTCO. But, there is a guy on the dock with
the product you're looking at and it works well too.

Sailors' Solutions seem to be good people to deal with--I've been
satisfied with them.

As for the rail light--not very bright, but could serve a purpose.
You can get something similar at K-Mart or the like for a lot less $
I saw some there last summer for $8-10
