What's normal for a newly rebuilt engine, warmed up and at idle?

Thanks
J. M.

At idle, 10 to 20 psi minimum, at cruising speed, 30 to 40 would be
typical.

It's 20 - 30 cruising and 5 or less at idle. Would you accept the
rebuild?

Thanks

It depends. Are you running straight 30 wt heavy duty oil? Is the
idle speed correct? Have you checked pressure with a second guage?
Were the bearings replaced as part of the rebuild?

If so, you may have a problem.
