Sorry for the blank reply. I've sent out several this morning. The laptop
I was using at home has developed a super sensitve touch pad.

Is this a program you wrote or is it in the public domain? If so, is there
a link where others could get it? I would post it on my web site because
lots of us are sitting around snowbound and it would be interesting for
several people to investigate the data drop out.

I've never used Hyperterminal and forgotten what it is so any use pointers
you could include would be appreciated.

The spooky thing about this bug for those of us on the US east coast is that
the problem would pop up in the evening when it's dark, we're tired and
sunburned, and most likely to be making our way up a channel to anchor
somewhere.
