Default nanni 4110 HE

I have a 30hp nanni 4110he in my cavalier 37 here in Australia.The serial
number tells importer that this model is not usual here. It uses about 3.5
litres an hour. which seems a lot for that size engine.I gather these are
more common in Europe. has any one had experience with these motors??

I have one in my Nauticat 25. They were built in France and are based
on a Kubota block. I think they did not sell many of the 4 cyl.
Nowerdays they get the same power out of a 3 cyl.
I need 3.2 litres but I never go above 1800 rpm - the engine is a bit
to big for my little boat.
