Yes.
There were 18 separate questions - 6 timed questions, and 12 others. They covered sun/star/planet sight reductions, RDF plotting, 2 body fixes, 3 body fixes, sailings, orthoginic charts, plotting sheets, sunrise/sunsets, LAN, chronometer calibration, and other topics. I can give you the exact list if you need it. You should also know that you need to show practial proficiency in 18 different areas before sitting for the exam. This proficiency must be aboard some kind of vessel. |
