I haven't been to a boat show for ??? But this year I am in a buying mood.
Do the shows still offer some good deals? Are they worth visiting? And what shows in the Northeast ... NY Maine are the best ones to visit? |

Newport in September is pretty good but THE sailboat show is Annapolis in
October. For shows in the next few months Strictly Sail in Philly, Jan 18-2, is pretty good but nothing like Annapolis. I was sorely disappointed in the NYC boatshow last year. Mostly smaller power cruisers and outboards. If you have serious bucks or just want to drool over the toys of the rich and famous Miami and Ft. Lauderdale are spectacular. -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite.
