No, I was strictly a homebrew guy in those days although we did have a doctor in town who had the fancy Gonset linear. He used to bring it out for the Field Day contest in June and it was definitely cool to watch that plate glowing through the window. My 6m rig was built on some sort of scrap/recycled chasis and had a 832A in the final if my memory is correct. |
