night, as do other stations. He used to own a 10KW AM daytimer in ST
George, SC, but had to sell it, to pay his lawyers, to the Catholics, who
now own it.

One of his grander schemes was to buy a Canadian offshore fishing boat
with a huge hold, install a 1960's vintage shortwave broadcast station on

and anchor it off Belize in international waters to broadcast to the
world. I met his captain, a ham from St Kitts who has been a radio
pirate for years, and got to tour the boat at a local boatyard before the
FCC showed up an confiscated it all. I still have a souvenir insulator
that fed 70KW through the main fish hatch to a T cage antenna between two
towers welded to the deck...until it exploded over my head...(c; We were
in the fish hold with the transmitter and there was so much RF we all
glowed blue. If you held out your arm, you got a tingling...(c; FCC did
the right thing....but that didn't get him off the air, the old lecher.

I get to looking at the picture of the kids playing around that septic
looking water and I think maybe what is needed more is birth control.
What is the point of bringing kids into that kind of world? What is the
point of perpetuating it by giving aid?
Reading the paper it's saying drugs for AIDS victims cost $25,000 a
year. A few pages later is an article telling how the free AIDS drugs
supplied to penniless, hopeless people in central Haiti is possibly
killing them as they don't have any food and the drugs taken on empty
stomachs tears up their internal organs. WTF kind of 'charity' plan is
that, to prolong their lives on expensive drugs so they can live in
agony until they die of starvation?!?!?
