For crying out loud? We're talking about registering a boat!

Not only does the remark have no place in a discussion about factual
procedures to register boat ownership; it is an example of 'splashing
around' names and labels trying to elicit an emotional rather than a
rationale response.

"Stupid Americans" is an expression that would have some currency in
many parts of the world! Don't let's prove it!

Remember this news group can be read world wide. So no need to have

So was ours. But it still cost a bundle to chnage the owner name and get

"lifetime" payment, there is no annual fee. In MA, it means no annual
registration, so it saves money pretty soon.

Mine was $120, but I had to send a couple of forms twice at $15 a pop, due
to a short between the ears. No DMV registration is very nice also.

She was previously documented, I kept the same boat name, and certainly
changed the owner name (got that one right at least). :-)
