I need someone to check out a damaged boat offered for sale in the Boston
area for me. I have been unable to contact yacht clubs in the area and hope someone in this group can help or suggest where I should try. I am willing to pay expenses. Cheers |

Pay a surveyor. I have had them take a quick look and send me pictures
to see if it's worth looking further. They can check the critical damage issues and come back for a full survey if justified. -- Roger Long "JohnM" wrote in message ... Thanks Roger
Do you know any I can try. The only one who answered my emails wanted $700 which seemed a bit much. "Roger Long" wrote in message ... Pay a surveyor. It's not a full survey I want. As Roger suggested a preliminary look to see
if it's viable shouldn't cost that much, if I could find someone to do it. I agree $700 is a good price for what this guy wnted to do.
