Default insurance question

I just got a terrific quote from Progressive Insurance for my Nonsuch 26ft.
Anyone have any warnings about the company?

Thanks

Can't say about boats but they have been excellent for car insurance.
Especially with two teenagers in the house. At least they haven't lost
patience with us yet. :-)

Some things to consider about ANY insurance policy:

A total loss is the LEAST likely scenario. Storm damage, theft,
vandalism, etc are the things you most need to protect. Does it replace
anything that's stolen or damaged or depreciate it. What does it
consider "boat equipment" and what does it consider "personal property "
(not covered, contact your homeowners). Agreed hull value, or "fair
market value?" How much liability coverage?

So as you compare policies, read ALL the fine print to make sure you're
really comparing apples with apples, not apples with pomegranates.

And as you compare policies, remember that you can save quite a bit in
premiums by assuming more of the risk yourself by increasing the
deductable.

My $.02 worth...you decide if it's worth that much.
