It's hardly useless. If you don't memorize it you won't pass the test. Not to
mention remember any of it when you may need it.

BG In my case of close to 40 years with a license, I've had a number of
occasions to use and see red over red and been amazed at the number of times
that I have had to make use of, in one way or another, of all the other
"required" and unrequired information.
