3 stage charging question
I agree that on the 3rd stage the voltage should drop to "float" voltage. I
would think that 12.9 to 13.1 would be good. Continued operation at 14.4 volts will boil out the water. Perhaps their definition of 3 stage charging is different from mine (and yours). The batteries are fully charged now and the charge current is very small (1amp) but the voltage remain at 14.40v. Is that normal?. I am told by the manufacturer that it's the way it should be. I would have thought that the voltage should come down to a lower level once the batteries are full. What do you think?
