I have a Dana 24 and want to install a fresh (sea) water foot pump in
the galley. Am curious if I should just put a new thru hull in the sink area or attempt to run a hose from the existing sea water inlet line (goes to head). If I am not mistaken this line also feeds the engine intake as well. Routing a new hose seems like a bit of a challenge getting to the under the sink area;where a thru hull would be a lot easier. Besides having a sea cock on the thru hull is there anything else I need prior to connecting to the pump? Strainer? Jerry |
