Seems two teenagers made 4 hoax distress calls in oregon. They were caught
and charged with disorderly conduct. The 17 year old was placed on probation with 32 days in juvie lockup and $53,233.89 restitution to the Coast Guard. The other is on probation and got 8 days and $10,650.50 restitution. The CG spent 20 hours with a cutter and chopper searching. It doesn't pay to play games! G -- Ask not for whom the terrorist bell tolls; it tolls for thee, and thee, and thee--for decent, innocent people everywhere. |

Yea, but I bet the kids don't pay the fines. Probably their poor
parents who had no control over the little *******s anyway. |
