Default Saguenay and St Lawrence River

Has anyone been there, done that who can tell me of their experiences?

The Québecois call the St. Lawrence "la mer" there because it's a little
over 30 miles across at that point. Any 30 mile fetch with tides and a
fjord like river mouth can create some interesting conditions. Some up-
sides are watching the sand skiers coming down the slopes near Tadoussac
and of course the whale watching. We crossed from Trois-Pistôles in an
open power boat of about the same size in good conditions and it was
quite enjoyable.
