Enough to house 200 people.

2- what boat material is better,

The strongest oak with tar.

3- what engine size and sail I should have?

It should be powered by 160 slaves at the ores. Remember to take trusted men
with whips.
It should contain one square sail for assistance, but you must first make a
sacrifice for poseidon before you embark on you journey to guarrantee good
winds and seas.

thanks
James

Glad to be of service.

James,

As you may have noticed, the other responses did not take your query
seriously because you aren't asking the right questions. The length,
boat material, sail and engine size are not relevant. They relate to
speed and comfort, but oceans have been crossed by 6' boats of every
kind of material and with no engine at all. Boat competence is not
based on size, but on design and construction quality. More important
than the boat is the sailor. Your questions indicate you have no
sailing experience (sorry if I assume wrong). Before considering such
a crossing, get some sailing experience and just lurk on this (or
other) cruising forums for a while. Take a safe boating class
presented by the Coast Guard Auxiliary or Power Squadron. It will give
you some backgound. Don't think that an ocean crossing should be taken
lightly just by getting the right boat.
