I have recently upgraded to The Capn Mosaic, version 8, which can display
vector charts, both DNC and ENC vector charts. Does anybody have experience using these vector charts? Which vector type, DNC or ENC, is best for navigation? I am impressed by the Capn 8 ability to allow the raster digital charts to appear "transparently" over the vector chart. Don |

They don't look like the traditional charts, but with a little practice you can get a lot more information out of them. Best of all, they're a free download off the NOAA web site. Coverage is incomplete, but constantly improving. Ryk |
