Default Boat Transport

Anyone out there with any recommendations or information on a transport
company that can haul our heavy displacement full keel 40' sailboat
from Corpus Christi, Texas to Los Angeles, California? Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Chuck,
Try Joule. They seem competent and have extensive equipment. I got price quotes all over the
place to ship my 22 footer from the Keys to Wisconsin. Shop
around for the best price. If time is not an issue, you can save money if you wait
for an empty returning truck. Check with marinas and boatyards at both ends and
see who they have good experience with.

Chuck,

We used Smith Transport to haul our 30' from Phoenix to San Diego. Good
service, and price. They are based in Phx, but truch all over the
oountry. BTW, it was $900 for a 14K lbs Cataline 30 from Phx to SD
(about 390 miles from lake to shore). Good luck.

I used Anchors Aweigh out of FL to ship my 40' Jeanneau from TX to NC a
couple of months ago. They did an excellent job! They transport the new
Valiants.
