We were a week or so behind Bombola and the next group of yachts to
traverse this area. We came through the centre of the 50 mile wide
corridor at midnight - no lights or VHF radio traffic.

Makes a good read. We heard from him on shortwave from Djibouti before
we set off from Salalah, Oman.
