Default Isomat furler jams

We have isomer spars and an isomer furler. For the 3 years we owned the
boat we had no problem. Recently, the as I unfurl the sail the furling
lines gets a sort of riding turn or two and then jams when furling. Ugly
when it is blowing. Neither the blocks the furling line runs through nor
the weld on fairlead for the drum looks different nor have they, to the best
of my knowledge, changed. I early on learned to not let the furling line
run and always ease it out as the sail unfurls and fills.

Any thoughts in the collective wisdom of the group?
