Any ideas on how to get rid of these bugs onboard without killing my
cats. Thanks

Know anyone at a golf course? Golf courses can still get Dursban, the best
insecticide I ever saw, that you're not allowed to buy any more because the
pest control unions don't want you to have anything that actually works
more than 3 days. The excuse was that Dursban was bad for the fish. Well,
if it's bad for the fish why, in hell, would they let a golf course spread
a thousand gallons on it so some rich old farts could play golf next to the
river?? Fishy, ain't it?

It's called Dursban Pro, now, to make golf course greens keepers feel
important and justify doubling the price, I'm sure. They get it in 55
gallon drums. If you know anyone in greens, ask 'em for a quart, a near
lifetime supply. Mix 1 oz in 1 gallon in your pump sprayer and spray only
behind things and in cabinets the cats can't lick up. Nothing works
better.

We South Carolinians invented Palmetto Bugs. There was one on my car a
couple of nights ago (they're swarming this time of year). He musta been
the grand-daddy. He was big enough to fly off with your cat!

Other than looking really nasty and just awful, these beetles are quite
harmless. Once you get past the idea of being around them, he's only
trying to do you a favor, cleaning up your food crumbs and bilge biology to
feed his kids....all 500,000 of them....(c;
