Default anchorman manual windlass

Looking for peoples experiences with the Anchorman manual vertical windlass
using 5/16 ht chain and 35 to 45 lb anchor for around a 32 ft sailboat.
Thanks,
Ed

I had a horizontal one (I wind parallel to the deck) installed on my Hunter
30T ('93). I love it. I use 50' of chain, 33 lb Bruce. I forget exactly
what the chain and rope are, but you have to be sure to get the right kind
or they won't fit the cogs.

Cheers,

Steve of Sackets Harbor
