I missed the name of the sailboat going from Virginia to S/Carolina who was
abandon at sea. Its crew was air lifted recently May 08 - 09, 2005. I do not know the exact date or time. According to this morning French television news the sailboat had engine failure and was taking on water. The velocity of the wind was way over 100km. It would be of interest to know who build the sailboat, why the engine failed and what caused the boat to take on water. My first taught was that the exhaust hose gave up and that dirt may have been in the fuel tank? Any comments |
