How do you make a "kill file"?

sorry to show my computer un-savvy BUt I would like to know how to set
up a kill file to cut out some of these lame idiots that wish to
pollute the Rec.boats.cruising forum.

Wreck.boats is junk.

BTW I'm using Google Groups.
