Depends on what you're looking for. The boats are well built and they
stand behind them. The designs aren't optimal for round the buoys
racing. They have a very comfortable motion a sea, but they are a bit
scarce on interior storage and space as a consequence, at least when
compared with other boats of their length and displacement. The 37 is
my favorite production boat in the world. I have an 1988 31 that I'm
happy with. The management of the company has changed since I bought
mine, but I haven't heard any complaints about the newr boats. You
could ask on Sailnet's Pacific Seacraft list if you have any specific
questions.

I can't remember if they are employee-owned or have changed hands in
the last ten years, but here's my impression.

1) Expensive to start with and expensive to buy used.
2) Worth it in terms of quality of build and general ruggedness.
3) A get you home boat, not a get you home fast boat.
4) The 34 and 37 are still popular world cruisers, but seem to be
owned by older couples who don't require a lot of amenities (it's at
the low end of "blue water cruiser" not for durabiltiy but for tankage
and stowage these days), or by divorced guys who've grown big grey
beards and drink rum on beachfront bars.

Just my .02..I really like the boats, but I find the 34 snug even for
Lake Ontario.
