I am upgrading my radar system to a RayMarine C-80 with a 4 KW radome. I
would like to gimbal it and am looking for feedback on good/bad gimbal
system. I will be attaching it to a pole on the stern of the boat.

I too have heard that Waltz has closed it's doors. I bought a Questus on
Ebay and am in the process of building a stern pole that will double as a
engine lift for the dinghy. I am using a 3" stainless pole. The base
bracket and supports from P.Y.I and the lifting hardware from Kato.
