I would suggest calling individual marinas in those areas to get advise, or just bypass them by going outside. The best thing we can all do for the florida marine community is SPEND MONEY. If we don't, the developers will just continue to buy up the marinas and build condos and then where will we all be in a couple years. Ed, I agree. It's foolish to cancel or postpone your trip because some facilities may not be what they were. As for the ICW, it's always a bit of a crapshoot. If when we get to some spots, it's impassable, we'll go outside. I still would like to know what the original poster based his advice on. Rick Itenson Breathless Toronto |
