mattie, it is self obvious. boats motoring go in a straight line (more or
less). boats bent over sailing don't. also boats motoring a flat calm have limited amount of windage to overcome, while a Westsail 32 sailing 7.5 knots is in one of hell of a blow and has one hell of a lot of windage to overcome. mattie? ever been on a sailboat?
