Default Wind Vane Brands

Hello all. I just took the leap and bought the foundation of the dream
to cut ties and head for blue water. I have a 31ft 12000# Wittholz
Degined Chance Christian with and outboard hung rudder. Any
suggestion on the wind vane to equip with? I am leaning towords
Monitor, but open to all suggestions.

Thanks for your help!

I have an Ingrid 38 with 'outboard rudder'. I mention this because I'm
experiencing some difficulty with prop and rudder turbulence, while
motor sailing, effecting my Aries windvane servo oar. I've talked with
other who have had the same problem..

Mounting will be a problem for you, as it was with mine. Due mostly to
the distance that the mount legs must extend from the stern to clear the
rudder.

You don't indicate the type of stern but I suspect it is 'double ended'
as mine is..

I have picture of my mounting method on my web site at
http://hood.hctc.com/~esteve/53002.htm

Let me know if I can be of any further help.
