Little navigational error that put us on rocks in a hard grounding instead of in the tricky channel. Total constructive loss. Read all about it in the February 2013 issue of Messing About in Boats. I can really, really feel for those people who will become way too familiar with somebody else's V-berth. Twenty eight years of sailboats gone. Insurance payments do not compensate for the physical loss. My condolences. I'll look it up. I hope no one was hurt. But it could happen to anyone (except Wilbur, of course) |
