I love it! So, what are you going to say to your boss then he tries to
write you up for putting the sticker back on? "You'd better talk to YOUR
boss because he told me it was OK." That'll larn him!

It was perfect. I actually just walked in there before I left (leave
at 3pm), and sort of casually said, hey about that sticker thing... I
was talking to Greg and he seemed ok with it, but I can remove it if
you really think it's a problem. So, he says, oh yeah, Greg said
something to me about the (his Mystery Spot) sticker, but didn't say
to take it off. So I guess just don't worry about it. (I don't think
anyone complained. I think he just had a hair up his butt about
something and I happened to be there.)

He's probably one of those control freaks who thought he could browbeat a
"defenseless" woman. LOL!

He can be I guess. Mostly, he's ok. I think he's having marital
problems. He's showed up a couple of mornings looking like he slept in
his clothes.

At least he's probably not having an affair because he wouldn't be sleeping
in his clothes. LOL!

Not a chance... believe me. Well, I guess there must be one other
woman out there who likes balding, over-weight...

Older. One lives sort of near here.. San Diego.. stock broker. The
oldest is military... currently in Germany just outside of Frankfurt.

Sounds like successful siblings. Are your parents around there anywhere?

Oh yeah.. they live in the LA basin... very suburban, low-key people.
They've lived in the same house since forever.

snip

Ha ha! YES! We lose our minds and men better remember it!! :-)

Or, run away!!!

Ummm... I ran track.. :-D

Exactly. If I don't write it down, they would blame me and I'd get
fired. If I do write it down, they blame me and try to get me fired. I
prefer the latter to the former!

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. snicker

When I work out, I put two 5lbs on the bench press bar, which weighs
45lbs, and I can press it 10 times for 2 sets before I have to stop.
Not bad I think!

Sounds pretty strong to me. Your arms in the bikini picture didn't look
muscle bound or anything. But, it looked like you had some pretty nice
"pecs". LOL!

Jeeez... Just remember that was from a while ago. I'm toned but
definitely not muscle bound. I go to the gym a few times a week after
work or early evening.. typically Mon/Wed/Fri, and I ride on Sat
mornings.

Ok. That makes sense. You can actually use the wave action of the boat
to get it out of the mud. Then it's just a straight lift.. 35lbs plus
whatever the chain weighs, and I guess you can rest by wrapping it
around something if you had to.

Yes, I have four different bow cleats to which to snub off the line or
chain. I installed two extras with a nice big backing plate on the overhead
of the v-berth for hurricane anchoring usage. I like putting out four
anchors in storm conditions even in a hurricane hole. I've ridden out no
fewer than a dozen tropical storms and hurricanes over the years in various
places.

You must get a few storms in your area... the Keys I guess?

There is no refuge from your PMS then. :-) You can run but you can't hide.

Do you have a riding partner? If not you should find one who is about the
same level as you are, perhaps a little faster. It's much more fun and you
get in shape faster and better with a training partner. Riding by myself I
get lazy and don't go if the conditions are a little inclement. But, when
I'm expected to show up then it's more motivation.

About five years ago we got five tropical storms and hurricanes in a
freaking row one summer and fall. It was a real painal in the anal. But,
since then, we've been lucky because there have been none since. We're due.
Definitely due. Yes, the Florida Keys. A wonderful place for sailing.

Hah! Got you! Bald is totally fine, unless you have one of those
pretend haircuts where men flop over some stupidly long bangs to make
it look like they have hair. I'm sure that fools at least a few blind

Overweight, then I'd have to pass. All that jiggling mess... yuck!

No.. well, I did have my best gf who used to ride with me, but she had
to move for work. The other two are just wimps (great folks, but
wimps). Sometimes I chat with this guy on one of the stationary bikes
at the gym, but I'm not sure I want to have him around my place. You
never know.

I typically ride for about 5 miles each way. So, that a good
distance... stop for a gelato or something, then head home.

Man.. I'd love to go someday... there must be some wonderful beaches
to just sit on and run the sand through your toes (long-time hobby of
mine).

I guess there's a storm season, so just avoid that and I should be ok.

None of that. My preferred haircut is with hair clippers on the shortest

Yes, the woman is ultimately the decider of go or no-go in a relationship.

Gelato? Never heard of that. Must be a California thing. We have 'smoothies'
around here - protein shakes sorta like. Our normal training ride is 45
miles and three times a week and on Saturday we do a longer ride of sixty
miles, weather permitting, of course. It's all out on the highway shoulder
and it's too dangerous if the weather is rainy or too windy.

Too bad you live so far away. If we were close by we could do lunch or
something just to make sure we enjoyed each other's (physical) company and
that we might want to spend a little time together sailing or whatever.
Traveling across the country just to end up in an uncomfortable situation
isn't the best of worlds. Know what I mean?

Hurricane season is from June through November but that is really way too
broad. The only real significant chance of hurricanes is from August-Oct.

Hey baldness is 1) sexy (if honest about it) 2) tends to mean lots of

I'll try it if I see it. They do have "Italian Ice" around here but that

theater. I could check with them to see if they have any gelato.

Out here, it's illegal to ride on the freeways. That's a lot of miles!

We can't ride on freeways and turnpikes either but be can ride on the other
roads. There is only one main road that goes up and down the Keys, US-1, so
that's the only option. They do have some bike paths but they're just awful.
They are mostly used by runners, joggers, mothers pushing baby strollers,
people walking their dogs, etc. Really untenable for riding a high speed
road bike on the. And, they are rougher than hell what with roots creeping
under them and making it more like a motocross course than a bike path.

I *am* in decent shape and can do some pretty fast rides. My riding partner
is ten years younger and even he has a hard time keeping up when I do a
practice TT. He just ends up drafting on my back wheel and even so, I can
usually out-sprint him at the end of the 15 kilometer course.

Any time of year in your company would be good. wink But . . .

April/May is probably the best time as it's not gotten into summer heat and
summer fickle winds (zephyrs) yet. Around June begins the rainy season
usually with some thunderstorms and lots of lightning. I don't like
lightning at all. And, it's pretty good sleeping weather with fresh cool
breezes through the hatches until June/July when it can become quite hot,
still and buggy at night.

That reminds me. I've got to get a couple new fans. They have a really nice
one at West Marine that runs so smooth and quite. I was looking at it the
other day. Got to buy one or two when I go up there to get some red striping
tape for the new paint job. No air conditioning on my boat. Don't want it,
don't need it but fans are vital to stir the air.

I think I don't know diddle about competitive cycling. I go with the

I have to give at least six months notice if I take a vacation. :-(

But, the good news is that I have four weeks accrued.

I don't like lightening at all either... forget that sh*t!

I don't mind humidity... just doesn't bother me that much.
