oh, **** you, Gregory! The expression is old as dirt! In other parts
of the world "merry" is substituted by the word "happy". The meaning
is the same for Christians. why would they *not* be merry or happy
that the savior was born? huh?

You missed the point. "Merry Christmas" is the preferred, non-believer,
politically correct greeting that marginalizes the true purpose of
Christmas
which is celebrating the birth of the Christ. How about 'Joyous
Christmas' or better yet. 'Holy Christmas'.

That sounds like a dine idea and I hope you enjoy your push to put the
christian back into christianity. You plan to lead by example?

I am leading by example.

Do you think the non-believers would ever accept and say those
greetings?

Why are you so interested in controlling what other people are doing
and saying?

Negative, I am saying that, as a Christian, I am tasked with not
allowing my religion to be secularized, liberalized and *******ized by
accepting the language the anti-religious or non-religious use to usurp
and marginalize my religion.

Keep your religion to yourself (as instructed to do in your bible) and no
one will bother you. Real simple.

As usual you know nothing, Pandora. And, you appear to know even less about
the Bible.

As Christians, the Bible says to NOT to keep Christianity to ourselves.
Rather, the Bible teaches us to spread our religion throughout the world.

Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is
given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:19 -Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned.

It is plain as day that Christians are tasked to spread the Gospel.

Gregory Hall-

There you go again! Not only are you incapable of learning to snip,
you are so willing to glorify your own ignorance.

Spit and spat are both acceptable past and past participles of spit. I
believe, but will not bet the farm, that spat is the common
British version.

Cease to comment on the ignorance of others until you get rid of your
own, never mind that is the only way you can achieve orgasm.

What a dull-minded little **** you are, Bob G. Sad that your like presumes
to educate young minds when your own mind is so narrow as demonstrated by
your lack of understanding of context.

"And thus shall ye be spit upon" is a layman's attempt at "Bible speak."
It's an antiquated language form no longer in everyday use.

When using antiquated language forms it is better to use them correctly.
"Spat" is the appropriate form of the word when used in antiquated, Biblical
language form.

PKB, as I just pointed out above with my usual brilliance. Don't you ever
tire of getting smacked down?

As usual you know nothing, Pandora. And, you appear to know even less about

As Christians, the Bible says to NOT to keep Christianity to ourselves.

Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is

Matthew 28:19 -Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in

Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.

Jesus was speaking to his disciples, not to all men. See Matthew
28:16-17 where it makes it clear he was only speaking to the eleven
disciples.

In Matthew 6:5-8, when speaking to the multitude he tells them to pray
in secret, not out in public as the hypocrites do.

Further, in Matthew 7:21-23 he makes it clear that doing things in his
name, even prophesying and casting out demons, is not enough to gain
entry into heaven.

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned.

In Mark 16:14 he makes it clear he is only talking to the disciples;
also Mark 3:14.

It is plain as day that Christians are tasked to spread the Gospel.

Then why, in Matthew 9:30 does Jesus instruct the blind men not to tell
anyone he healed them?
