Here are some gold plated N connectors just for marine applications:

Unlike silver, the gold plate does not corrode as easily.

It starts out more resistive than oxidized silver, and continues that
way! :-)

Ah, but can't you see the gold plating shining at the masthead? And
what a winner in the dock-side discussions... "Well, of course.... MY
connections are gold plated..."
