Here are some pictures of the haulout... some nice close-ups and a few
relatively boring vids.

Did I read that right? She hasn't been out in 3 years? And the bottom
looks that good?

Thats it! I am moving to SF!

Mark Twain is widely, but incorrectly, quoted as saying: "The coldest
winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

Although no one knows where the quote really came from, everyone
agrees that it is correct. Great city, beautiful scenery, not so
great climate unless you like cold, damp fog.

Expecting another 8 inches in Green Bay today, as yet another named winter
storm arrives this afternoon. This will bring our total snowfall up to 80
inches for the season.

Move south. I'm leaving in a few minutes to watch the Red Sox play
baseball vs Pirates, temps in the mid 70s, nice sunny day.

The last place did a good job. I believe it was a coat and 1/2, but I'm
trying just a single coat this time, since I don't have a diver.

They also fixed the "smile" that develops on Sabres (near the keel/hull
junction) of this era.

Marin isn't bad at all. Doesn't get the same quantity (quality?) of fog.
They also say, incorrectly, that if you can sail in the SF bay, you can sail
anywhere. The closer truth is that if you sail in the SF bay, you can find
conditions from almost anywhere (sometimes on the same day.... Caribbean to
roaring 40s).
