I was thinking of doing some sailing in Nova Scotia this summer, but I've been unable to locate any place that charters bareboat sailboats. I found some references to places that don't seem to be in business anymore. I contacted a couple of tourist agencies to no avail. Anyone know if there is such a thing? TIA. I can not think of a better source of information than the Armdale YC in Halifax. I stayed at this club for 2 extended visits in 2002 and the members could not do enough to help out with info and just about everything else. If there are bareboat services in the province, the people at AYC will know about them. http://www.armdaleyachtclub.ns.ca/index.html -- Good luck and good sailing. s/v Kerry Deare of Barnegat http://kerrydeare.home.comcast.net/ |
