Default dead outboard

Thanks to all you suggested the possible cause of my dead outboard (bad
mechanical sounds, oil explosion, but still running).

I pulled it out of its well for a better look, and indeed, it had thrown a
rod right through the crankcase side. It's deceased. Guess I get to
install the used Yanmar sooner than I expected.
