What is a YELLOWJACK?
"JIm" wrote in message news:YKrzc.759799$Ig.1410@pd7tw2no... not only that it is the disrespect that many "boaters" show for other country flags. Flags from other countries are not to be displayed as "trophies". Bahama flags really look good when they are flown from the outriggers on a "sports fish" :last time I was in the Bahamas I caught hell from the immigration officials for not flying a yellowjack "anchorlt" wrote in message om... It torgues my eyes and butt to see U.S. flags flying from bow rails, spreaders and antennas. Or Q and courtesy flags flying from most anywhere except where they're supposed to be. Do people not know or do they deliberately defy propriety? I once saw a sailboat in Chesapeake Bay with a myriad of differemt flags flying from starboard and port spreaders, arranged by size from top to bottom, both halyards, from spreader to very near the deck. |
