Default Cruising Sailboat Insurance

I am looking for information re Sailboat insurance for cruising the east
coast of the US (incl Florida), the Bahamas, T&C.

I have a couple of quotes but high premiums and/or limited coverage.

Any suggestions. I need to act fast.

Check out Boats US. There are cheaper ones but this is easy

Try http://www.imiscorp.net/ . They specialize in cruising insurance,
especially with limited crew.

Default Cruising Sailboat Insurance

I second IMIS in Maryland for insurance brokerage for cruising coverage.
Talk to Al or Gary Golden. In marine insurance you often get what you pay
for. As Al and Gary will probably tell you Markel and Zurich have the best
policy terms which often cost more than others like the BoatUS carrier.

Ask them and they will tell you the differences honestly and objectively.
