Help - find a gondola builder
Does anyone know where I can find Thom Price ?
(Website, email, ...) He had a gondola workshop (squero) in Venice (Italy) until, I estimate, sometime in 2006. Since then there is no trace that I can find. A recent trip to Venice has awakened my interest in these extra- ordinary craft and Thom would appear to be the best English-speaking expert around. Any help gratefully received. |

Any help gratefully received. There was a gondola builder that showed up in Milwaukee, WI, U.S. some years ago. I don't know what he's up to these days but he had a couple of gondola's on the Milwaukee River. I wonder if he might know something about Thom Price. You might search archives at The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for more info. I do know that the Milwaukee builder had ties to Italy but had been in the states for quite some time. |
