Default Eyebrow making question

I am planning on replacing the eyebrow trim on my 35' sloop. The trim
needs to have a "S" curve in it, where it follows the lines of the
cabin trunk.
When making this section, is it usually made from a wide board, or
from a bent piece of the trim. If so, what is the best method of
bending Teak?
Also, the orig eyebrow was so weathered and had been sanded a lot,
that it's hard to figure the orig width and thickness. Any suggestions
on the size to make it?
Thanks in advance
