Yttr,
Daniel Spurr's "Upgrading the Cruising Sailboat" has a good detailed description for building an ice box using 4 inches of urethane foam. When I built my 32 Traveler interior I followed this and the box came out nice, but small. If I were to do it again, especially with refrigeration, I'd use 2 inches of foam. The book "Upgrading the Cruising Sailboat" is well worth the cost for anyone working on an old boat, lots of good info. My copy is from 1983. Another good book is "This Old Boat". My copy was borrowed about 10 years ago! If you want I can scan the section on ice boxes and send to you directly. MMC "Ytter" wrote in message . .. I want to build a new ice box with Adler/Barbour coolmatic .Do you know any books or web sides that would give me instructions what material to use and how to build it. Thank You ,Ytter |
