Default BUGS IN EPOXY! was: Recent progress on hi-tech dinghy project

Doug, if you're really serious about this project, you'll capture a few
hundred bugs, cast up some bug-epoxy biscuits and take 'em to your local
materials testing lab for testing the mechanical properties of the
composite. At minimum, they'll be 'involved' in the next sanding step.

Another argument for peel-ply.

Does anybody else have a problem with millions of insects
commiting suicide by diving into wet epoxy? Does it contain
some kind of bug pheromone?

The plan is to finish it with 4.5oz carbon fiber skins and hopefully
have an exceptionally light & strong boat. At this point I'm still
working on getting the basic hull shape laid down properly, and fair.
