After reviewing my situation, I've decided that I don't have the cash
to start the restoration of my boat. I've got a 1972 26' flybridge in need of some major work. A quick review shows: The Bad... - Deck and rubrail is gone. Will require replacement. - All Cosmetics & paint - A couple of bottom planks are soft - entire boat is VERY dirty. The Good... -Engine (OMC 225 I/O) has less than 10 hrs since professional rebuild. - Outdrive has VERY few hours since $2,000 worth of work and parts. - extra parts from another scrapped skiffcraft This one will take lots of work, but if you have the space and time you could end up with a nice boat. Here's the deal.... I bought a heavy duty trailer for the restoration. It has cost me $1k. Very nice condition. Make me a promise she won't be scrapped immediately, and cover the trailer and a little extra, and she's yours. -OR- talk trade for a sailboat or airstream!
