Default Does anyone know how to manually lower the stern Drive

Yes, it could be wiring related. Or water could also have gotten down into
the screw (of the tilt motor) and seized it up- there are many
possibilities. It should come out anyway, so it can be cleaned up and run
'on the bench'. Dependability is important when you're out on the water.
