I'd see if I could jumper the trim motor and run it down electrically. Look
in the book and you'll see the color code of the pigtail and the tilt limit
switches. If that is not an option, you could carefully remove the tilt
motor, then lower the O/D. Be sure the drive is properly supported before
you start removing the tilt motor- then lower the O/D by hand.
