Ken,
Beautiful job !

However, she looks like a Herreshoff pram . . . and strip-built rather then
lapstrake {or the photos simply don't show enough detail}.

You're not supposed to ask that.

Probably as a prototype for a line of hand production lapstrake
tenders....but most probably for my 28 ft. piece of 'classic plastic'.

I simply bought a ready made brass insert. Just a bushing with an attached
base with 4 screw holes, to mount inset under the teak oarlock riser.
