Default insurance salvage boats for sale ...

Took a look at a bunch of insurance salvage boats listed on the net.
Problem,,, boat are there, I am here.

Some are junk, cut em up and throw away the pieces.

But others look more like the owner said "I sure am glad I didn't tie her up
to good, give me my money and have a nice day" to the insurance company.

If you were interested in a damaged boat, and said boat was thousands of
miles away ...

What or how would you approach the project?

If you post "no way" .. that is ok.

My thoughts are this ;; first; ask where the boat is. Second, ask if
the boat has been looked at by a surveyer. Third; ask to speak to
surveyer. Get copy of damage report. Ask if there is a boat repair
business near to the boat, contact them and ask them to take a look.

Make very low offer,,, if I don't get the boat ... that is the way it goes.

I am looking for as big a hull, sailboat, as I can get. If the boat needs
work /// no problem.
