yes. good advice. the intended use is for river floating for wildlife
observation.
would a jetski hull minus weight and a lower CG achieve stability?

You will very likely spend as much money and will certainly spend much
more time converting a jet ski hull than if you simply got good plans
and started from scratch. (
http://www.clcboats.com has a great scull)
You will also be a lot happier with the performance of a boat designed
for sculling. So -- unless you just get joy from turning one thing into
another (Lots of people do.), throw the jet ski hull away and make a
proper scull.

Forget it. A scull gains its efficiency by being narrow and longer than the
displaced wave length at its maximum speed. A jetski hull is WAY to short.

right! the jet ski is short and yes the back yard has a debris pile of
jet ski's and hobe hulls-another conceptual design over.
and sail boards sans coaming but carrying excessive rocker
cost effectiveness is basic, once the resin cloth and OARS approach
used canoe, the idea falls short.
i tried raising money-this is a manatee project-but no success with
that as reaching past those living off donations is difficult
